The SC1455 utilizes the standard SAE-J1772™ EV connector, making it compatible with most EVs sold in North America. Tesla™ EVs require an adaptor (sold separately).Designed with the user in mind, the charger features 28 feet of cord, long enough to reach both bays of a two-car garage or from a garage wall plug to the driveway. It also features an ergonomic design that is comfortable to hold. A rubber cover on the charging gun helps to keep out water and dirt for an Ingress Protection rating of IP55.
